LEXINGTON -- Benjamin F. Winnear died at his home on East Main Street Monday, Oct. 30, at 1:45 o'clock from a lingering illness of complications which finally culminated in dropsy.  Mr. Winnear was a Civil War veteran.  Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. J.N. Brown of the Congregational Church.  Burial was made in the Lexington Cemetery.
